From premium to freemium camming. JessiQuas reveals all pros and cons
This week we’re talking to one of our newer models on Stripchat and her journey of going from a premium camming platform with a lot of rules to Stripchat where she refound the love for camming and says she finally could find herself and the joy of being a cam model again.
JessiQuas just rounded the 10.000 mark of members adding her to her favourites that was celebrated in a special show last Sunday on Stripchat. She also set a personal earning record for herself last month and is looking forward to growing on Stripchat even more.
Tell us what got you into camming?
I think it was fate and I was meant to be a model. For most of the people the last year was a loss of opportunities, but for me it was exactly the opposite. It started when I was passing through a hard period of my life, that kind of moment when you ask yourself, “And now what?”. One of my friends told me ‘’Girl, why don’t you try becoming a cam model?’’. I was ready to try new things and I had nothing to lose. That’s when I decided to try it and let me say that back then I didn’t expect I would like it so much and I could never imagine how much it can change my life.
So you streamed on a premium cam platform before. What do you see as the biggest difference between Premium Cams and Stripchat?
That’s true, I started streaming on a premium site and now I am streaming exclusively on Stripchat. It was a different kind of experience and I felt like it wasn’t really for me being a glamour model. The reason I love Stripchat is because it gives me the freedom to be myself and it's great having fun at work. I was always a girl with a sense of humour and on Stripchat I can be natural. I am free to do a lot of funny things, being more than just a pretty face. At the same time it's amazing being able to explore my sexuality and not only discover my body, but starting loving each inch of it .
Do you feel any difference in interaction on Stripchat where you can meet both users with and without tokens? Are they more into having fun and helping you to diversify your shows?
Of course, I do feel like it's a big difference and it has a huge impact for models, a positive one of course. For me every user is important and I am always asking for opinion and taking it into consideration. More than that, we started building a little JessiQuas Community, which is the reason why I am so proud and grateful to each member. Especially because they are online daily supporting me, creating and helping me to diversify my shows, giving new ideas, helping me decide how i should dress tonight or where to stream. But most of all we are spending such a quality time together.
What about content selling opportunities you have on Stripchat, are they enough to ensure good passive income? (Fanclubs and Galleries/Videos)
Creating content represents a form of art or a form of expressing myself without using words. Sometimes the words are not enough and for me, it’s a way to share my experiences or to reinvent myself creating content and everyone is more than welcome to take a look and to appreciate my art and if they like it. Of course they can buy it too or be part of my fanclub. I often compare it to buying a painting from an artist, it’s kind of the same thing. At the same time, I still find myself learning and discovering new opportunities that have been very useful for me.
Did you ever try broadcasting from mobile? How was your experience?
Broadcasting from mobile is one of my favourite things to do. It is great to know that I can stream from whatever place I have in mind from driving around the town, cooking delicious meals in my kitchen, taking a shower or a hot bath to shopping sessions in the mall. The opportunities are limitless and I do it often and I find it interesting. The last thing I did was sharing my personal space and home with my community and showing people that they are part of my life. I will not stop here, you will find a lot of crazy and fun ideas in the future if you follow me.
Do you have any favorite camming moments on Stripchat you’d like to share with us?
I have a lot of moments in mind, but the most recent one was reaching 10K members that added me to their favourites. I never thought I could create my own community and reach such a big number in such a short time. That’s why I don’t want to stop here and I am dreaming about growing it and maybe reaching 100k one day. It was a special day for me and I made it a special occasion for me and my community celebrating 10K with a very special show.
Tell us something about you that no one would ever expect.
There are some things that only a few people know about me and now I am ready to share it with you. I am a polyglot. I speak 5 languages fluently. Besides Romanian that is my native language and English, I also speak fluently German, Turkish and French. Also, I lived a long period in Germany and after that in Turkey, where I improved my language skills.
Another topic that is often debated in my room is my age, few people know that I am almost 29 and a big number of them are shocked to discover this fact. I guess I look and act very young for my age.
Do you have any model crushes on Stripchat?
Actually I do, StracciaStella is one of them. When I started streaming on Stripchat or even before that, I remember taking a look on models on Stripchat and I started looking at Stella. Being a model is fun, but at the same time it is challenging. What I really liked about Stella was how she is able to relax in her room. She is so natural, always having a great mood and she is able to be nice to everybody. She is such an inspiration for all the models. Just seeing how determined she is in reaching her goals, helps me to become even better and hoping that one day I will become an inspiration for other models.
