Hero of the live adult entertainment industry: Stripchat wins 2 AW Awards

It’s been that time of the year again! On June the 6th, the heavyweights of the live adult entertainment industry gathered at the 2019 edition of the AW-Awards –also known as the Oscars Of The Live Cam Industry– held in Mamaia, Romania. This was the perfect finale to the prior two days of AWSummit in which models, studios, affiliates and platforms got together once again to take their businesses to new heights. And of course, there was Stripchat, as one of the Presenting Sponsors, ending the event on a high note with the two amazing awards that it took home: Best Broadcasting Software and Best Freemium Platform.

Alexandru Gheorghe, the founder and host during the AW-Awards, surprised everyone with an astonishing staging that left nobody unmoved. In the course of the gala attendees could enjoy vibrant live performances, delightful food, and some seriously elegant red-carpet looks. The ceremony seemed to pass in the blink of an eye in the midst of such entertaining show.

Even though Stripchat was nominated in 7 different categories, the climax was when it was announced as the winner for Best Freemium Platform. “We’re so honored to receive this award recognizing the constant hard work of our team to deliver a platform of excellence for both models and users,” said Rick Morales, Head of Business Developing at Stripchat, during his acceptance speech.

The surprise, however, was when Stripchat received the award for the Best Broadcasting Software. “We were not counting on that one, but it was a bliss. We are growing by leaps and bounds and it’s in big part thanks to our amazing group of developers” stated Rick. “Nevertheless, none of this could be possible without our amazing models and studios. They are the main leading roles here, so these awards are also for them.”

Also two of our Stripchat models got awarded for their hard work during AW-Awards.

Trisha Star won the award for the Best Russian Model and IrisBlues won the Freemium Queen of the year! Congrats to both of them, you are amazing and you are Gold!
