There’s a lot of people out there who claim that masturbation is a replacement for sex, and that if you masturbate too much, you’ll end up not having sex with your wife. But research actually finds that people who masturbate more, in fact, people who watch pornography more have more sex because there are people with a higher libido, and they are people who are engaging with their sexuality. Now, in the research that we did actually with Stripchat a little while back, we found something really interesting. We found that there were people who came to the Stripchat and feel a lot of guilt and shame about it. What’s interesting is that we compare those folks to the people who feel less guilt and shame about being on the site. We found that people who have more sex and people who masturbate more, feel less guilt about coming on the webcam site and watching models and masturbating. If you are not masturbating, you’re more likely to feel guilty and ashamed about it.
