Project Pulse: First Patch Release Down, More to Come

We’re starting with the basics. This is the first of four Project Pulse patch releases, and it’s all about fixing the things that were clearly in your way.
No new features or design changes, just solid fixes for what broke your flow. We focused on unstable streams and Cam2Cam issues, disappearing chat messages, and plenty of other bugs, including payout errors.
It won’t catch everything, but it should make a few things feel a lot smoother. Check out the full list of fixes below — your most annoying bug might finally be gone. And thanks for your patience while we keep working on the rest.
🎥 Streaming
We’ve made major improvements to how your broadcast handles connection issues. Reconnecting is now faster and more reliable, and we’re working on making it even stronger.
We also fixed a related issue where your broadcast wouldn’t restart after a brief internet interruption, like unplugging your internet cable. With this update, you should see better automatic recovery when this happens.
Another issue we tackled was hearing your own stream while broadcasting. This should lower the chances of echo and make streaming more comfortable.
Additional fixes:
- Improved how we track unexpected stream interruptions to make streaming more stable
- Fixed an issue in Chrome where WebRTC streaming didn’t reconnect after a brief connection loss
- Resolved an issue on iOS 18.3–18.5 where a false “No mic” error blocked you from starting a stream, even when your microphone was working correctly
- Addressed a bug where no error message appeared when you tried to start a stream with a prohibited word
These changes are just the beginning. Streaming is a long-term project, and while a few quick fixes won’t cure everything, they set the stage for bigger improvements ahead. With this patch, our goal was to bring some immediate relief. We’ll share a more detailed update on our streaming progress in the next patch notes.

💞 Privates
We’ve improved audio reliability in Cam2Cam shows. If the user’s video is visible, their sound should now come through consistently.
Additional fixes:
- Sorted out the “Same activity” error you saw while editing activities, even when there were no duplicates

📱 Mobile
We’ve fixed a bug affecting mobile users during Cam2Cam shows. Switching between front and back cameras used to cause users’ camera issues, but now it works properly every time.

💬 Chat
We’ve increased the number of messages visible in Public Chat from 30 to 100. This makes it easier to follow conversations and catch up if you’ve been busy performing. Note that messages still expire after one hour, and the VR Chat limit remains at 30.

🛠️ Other Updates
- Fixed a problem where your token balance in the Broadcast Center didn’t update after a payout rejection
- Fixed an issue where the block period in your account didn’t match the actual time frame
- Resolved a bug where you saw the “In your room right now” icon in another model’s Top Tippers list
- Resolved an issue that prevented you from repositioning custom panels in your profile
- Corrected a case where you couldn’t save tip menu changes if multiple presets included prohibited words
What’s Next
In the following sprint, we’ll focus on improving model discovery and notifications. And, as already mentioned, we’ll also share a more detailed update on our progress with streaming stability.
