Stripchat accepts Dogecoin (DOGE) following endorsements by Elon Musk and Snoop Dogg
DOGE has recently appeared as a payment method on Stripchat. Earlier this month, Elon Musk tweeted that “Dogecoin is the people’s Crypto.” We at Stripchat are excited to announce that we’re now ready to accept Dogecoin for buying tokens on a platform.
Why did Stripchat add DOGE?
“We are always looking to adopt better technologies and offer more convenient ways for our users to make payments. If adding DOGE can improve Elon Musk’s and people’s experience on Stripchat, we are here to accept it,” says Max Bennet, VP of New Media at Stripchat. “Both users and models are more actively using Crypto as their preferred payment methods. We have seen a 400% increase in the number of Cryptocurrency transactions since the beginning of 2020, and 10% of all active models on Stripchat are using Crypto as their primary payout method.’
Considering the coin’s market price, users can already benefit from buying token packages with DOGE. Both big and small packages are already available. Payments using DOGE can sometimes become unavailable during times of increased market volatility.
