Could you tell us about your background? Who are you, when did you join the industry, and what roles have you been performing since then?
I have been involved in the webcam industry for more than 15 years. Initially, I started as a chat host, but over time, I began to feel burnt out as a model. Nevertheless, my passion for the adult industry remained strong, and I didn't want to change my line of work (and still don't). For a while, I took on various roles simultaneously, such as streaming, translating, advising, photography, and mentoring newcomers.
Over the past decade, my primary focus has been on community management. My team and I play a crucial role as the "bridge" that connects the site, models, studios, and users, ensuring seamless communication and continual improvement of the platform.
How has the industry changed in these years? What’s the biggest change you’ve seen in the industry when you started vs now?
The industry has witnessed significant transformation, especially in terms of opportunities for models. Twenty years ago, the model's activities were limited to her chat room and a profile on the site (with a few photos and videos). However, things have evolved dramatically since then. Nowadays, there are countless new tools and possibilities, including social networks, interactive toys, messaging platforms for paid sexting, and marketplaces for selling various content, even personal items like panties. It's truly amazing!
How did covid impact the camming industry and how did it manage to keep afloat?
Covid brought about an interesting change as it destigmatized webcam work to a great extent. During lockdowns, streaming became a viable means for many newcomers to earn money.
Additionally, webcam models provided companionship and joy to those who were feeling lonely or down during those isolated times.
What do you think it’s the secret for webcamming to be on the rise and only getting more popular as the years pass by?
Webcam has been out of the niche of "some weird thing for perverted nerds" for quite some time now.

Over the next five years, webcamming will undoubtedly continue to thrive and improve. New players may enter the scene while others might exit. Technological advancements will add some exciting twists.
However, the core essence of webcamming, which revolves around genuine human interaction and communication, will remain unchanged.
Some people might argue that the adult industry is exploitative and harmful to women. How much truth is there in those claims? In your opinion, does the camming industry care about women empowerment?
This is a complex and debatable issue. However, speaking from the perspective of webcamming, the industry operates under the principle of "my chat - my rules”, empowering models to maintain control over their experience on the site. This minimizes the risk of exploitation and provides a safe and secure environment for models to earn.

What sets webcams apart from traditional porn? Would you lump them together into the same category?
Both webcamming and traditional porn fall under the umbrella term"sex work.”
